Red Bull Rampage

Live Event Coverage

About the Project

Red Bull Rampage is widely considered the most extreme freeride mountain bike event in the world, held annually in the desert terrain outside Virgin, Utah. Athletes hand-carve their own lines down a near-vertical sandstone face before dropping in front of a global audience. Ragtown Media collaborated with Get Sendy Media to cover the event, capturing cinematic footage of athletes Christian Arehart and Clayton Lindley taking on Virgin Utah in a final stunt segment.

Our Role

Ragtown Media provided camera operations and cinematography for this production, deploying FPV drones, Inspire 3 aerials, and ground-based gimbal rigs to capture the scale and speed of freeride MTB at its highest level. Our Phoenix-based crew specializes in action sports production across desert and mountain environments.

Why This Story

Freeride mountain biking at the Rampage level is one of the most visually compelling subjects in all of action sports, enormous consequences, extraordinary athleticism, and terrain that looks like it belongs on another planet. Capturing it requires both technical camera skill and genuine understanding of the sport. This project represents Ragtown Media's capability at the intersection of action sports coverage and cinematic documentary storytelling.
